Dosakaya Pachadi (Cucumber Chutney):
Dosakaya this is custom vegetable what we use for veg cooking this we call in English as cucumber . The below recipe is dosakaya pachadi (cucmber chutney).Try this today
- Dosakaya 1(Indian cucumber)
- Peanuts 1/2cup
- Channa dal 1/2tsp
- Green chilli 4
- cumin seeds 1/4tsp
- Garlic cloves 4
- Tamarind paste 1/2tsp
- Red chilli 1
- Channa dal 1/tsp
- mustard seeds 1/2tsp
- urad dal 1/2tsp
- curry leaves 1stalk
- oil 2spoons
1)First of all Clean Cucumber(dosakaya) and remove seeds
2)Heat the oil in a pan add green chilli, peanuts, channa dal and fry them for 5 mins remove from flame, let them allow to cool for 10 minutes.
3)Now take all these fried items with 2 garlic cloves, tamarind paste, salt and and grind them in a grinder(use little water)
4)Now take chopped cucumber(dosakaya) pieces and apply this paste to them.
5)For tempering heat pan add oil then put red chilli, mustard seeds, urad dal, when mustard seeds start to splutter add onion, curry leaves and mashed garlic.
6)Fry till onion turns in to golden brown color and finally add cucumber(dosakaya mixed paste) and stir well and keep it on flame for 10 mins.
